Colors of emotions

Thanks to the funds raised, in August 2026 we were able to actively implement an initiative consisting of art therapy workshops for 20 project participants, namely: children (including those with special educational needs), adolescents, and women from vulnerable groups (internally displaced persons, families of military personnel, and families in crisis situations).
All planned art therapy and creative activities for the project were fully implemented:

• “Light” Art Therapy Sessions: Participants worked with canvases and high-quality acrylic paints, expressing their own understanding of light, goodness, hope, and warmth. This helped stabilize their psychological and emotional state and reduce stress levels. (2 sessions with 8 children each)
• Spiritual and Creative Integration: Painting wooden keychains featuring Christian symbols with acrylic paints helped develop fine motor skills, concentration, and an awareness of important spiritual values. (2 sessions with 10 children each)
• Working with Shape and Color (MDF Boards): A final series of sessions was held to create round paintings with acrylics on MDF boards, allowing participants to master new techniques of self-expression and reinforce positive emotions. (2 sessions with 10 children each)

Thanks to the project, participants gained valuable experience in self-regulation, emotional release, and support. A friendly, caring environment was created within the community, bringing the children together and providing them with a sense of safety and belonging.
