Dear donors!
On 24.03.2025, a high-precision ECG Holter cardiac monitor was purchased and delivered to St. Nicholas Children's Hospital in Lviv, which will help monitor the hearts of the youngest patients and detect critical rhythm disturbances that can cost lives.
The Holter ECG is a device that allows doctors to continuously monitor infants' hearts for 24-48 hours. Babies can't explain that they have heart pain or discomfort, but this device independently detects alarms and helps doctors diagnose critical conditions at an early stage. This device also allows you to monitor children after complex surgeries - it is important to know that the heart is recovering correctly. With the help of Holter, doctors detect hidden pathologies - some heart problems do not manifest themselves immediately, and without such monitoring they cannot be noticed. Doctors with this equipment can make quick decisions - if they see that the heart condition is deteriorating, they can immediately intervene and save lives.
Above all, the Holter reduces the risk of complications and sudden cardiac arrest - especially in children born prematurely or with complex diagnoses.
Every day, the doctors at the St. Nicholas Children's Hospital fight for the lives of the little ones.
Thank you for your support in implementing this project!
