Imagine a little girl who is not yet two years old, but instead of taking her first steps, she suffers from spasticity. Instead of her first words, there is a quiet cry of pain. And instead of the joy of new discoveries, there is a daily struggle for movement – something that comes naturally to other children from birth. This is the reality of little Ameliia, a child who proves every day that incredible strength can live even in the smallest hearts.
The first shock for her mother came when the doctors announced the diagnosis. In that moment, everything around her felt unfamiliar, and life instantly divided into “before” and “after.” Since the age of six months, Ameliia has undergone rehabilitation, procedures, and examinations… Yet despite all efforts, she still cannot sit, make a movement forward, or simply reach out to her mother the way other children do. Every day is a confrontation with something she never chose.
Her mother is raising her alone. There is almost no support from the father. All the searches for doctors, trips to clinics, expenses, and hopes rest solely on the mother’s shoulders. But she continues the fight because she knows that only treatment can change her daughter’s future.
Ameliia needs comprehensive rehabilitation – costly, yet essential. It may become the very chance that will allow her to sit on her own for the first time, keep her balance, and, with time, perhaps take her small but life-changing step.
Today, we are not asking for a miracle. We are asking for participation. For support that can bring Ameliia closer to a life with more movement than pain, more hope than helplessness. Every donation is a building block in the wall that protects this child from despair.
Please help little Ameliia receive the chance for a future in which she can move, develop, and simply live as every child deserves to live. Your kindness can change her tomorrow.
