Kyrylo is only 13, but he already knows what real struggle means. Since early childhood, his constant companion has been cerebral palsy. For most children, movement is something ordinary and easy. But for him, it’s like climbing a steep, endless mountain. He took his first steps much later than his peers, and each of those steps was a true feat. But that’s what taught him to value what others often take for granted: a step, a movement, a breath, a smile. To keep moving forward, Kyrylo needs regular rehabilitation. It’s not just physical training — it’s the only path to helping his body respond, to giving him more independence, to making each day a bit easier.
There’s a fire inside him. Quiet, but unyielding. It doesn’t let him stop, even when his whole body aches with pain and exhaustion. His days are filled with endless massages, sessions with physical therapists, painful injections, and bitter medicines. But in between these challenges, there are bright moments — when he can simply walk a bit, laugh with friends, play, and forget about the pain. And each of these moments is possible because of rehabilitation — something he desperately needs to continue. School can be especially tough. Some children stare at him with curiosity or confusion — why does he walk differently? Why can’t he run like everyone else? Sometimes he just stands to the side, watching others play football. In those moments, his heart sinks. But he’s learning not to give up.
To keep going, he needs more treatment courses. Rehabilitation is what helps him retain his skills, reduce pain, and hold on to his dreams. Life with cerebral palsy is a marathon. And every new rehabilitation course is another chance — a chance to take a step, to sit up on his own, to hold a spoon, to move his fingers, to feel less pain. Every donation is an investment in his movement forward. He dreams. He fights. He keeps going. But he can’t do it alone. We’re raising funds for rehabilitation treatment that will help Kirill get back on his feet — literally. Help him take his next step. Every bit of support brings him closer to his big dream.
