"On August 30, 2018, twins were born in our family – a girl Eva and a boy Christian. Until the age of one, the children developed according to their age. But over time, we began to notice that Eva was becoming more and more different from other children. She did not speak, was not interested in ordinary toys, did not respond to her name. She often walked on tiptoe, and she started having trouble sleeping. We underwent many examinations by various specialists, and only in October 2024 did a psychiatrist diagnose her with autism spectrum disorder", Eva's mother begins her story.
The girl's rehabilitation began in February 2025. Eva completed 10 sessions with specialists, then a two-week course according to Resolution No. 309. But the free rehabilitation at the Kyiv City Center for Children with Disabilities is already coming to an end. There is a small but very important progress – the girl is eating and drinking on her own. But she still does not speak or use the potty. We can't stop now that the first positive changes have already appeared.
Now Eva needs to continue her rehabilitation course, which costs 25,000 UAH.
We will be very grateful for any support you can provide. Each contribution brings Eva closer to a future where she can be happy.
