Artem was born at 33 weeks' gestation – small, weak, with a fragile body that fought for life from the first seconds. He spent several days under an artificial respiration machine and underwent many drips and injections. After being discharged from the hospital, he and his mother were sent to the neonatal pathology department, where doctors fought for his life for a month.

The baby overcame pneumonia, gained weight, and learnt to eat on his own. It seemed that the worst was over. But when Artem turned 10 months old, the neurologist announced the diagnosis of cerebral palsy.

There was no time for despair – we had to act. Hospitals, massages, classes, swimming, medicines – all this became part of the little boy's daily life. And the love and support of his parents and his perseverance paid off: Artem has started to respond better to toys, tries to get up on his own, and makes attempts to crawl. Doctors emphasise that without regular rehabilitation, which is necessary several times a year, progress can stop.

Artem is an inquisitive, sincere boy who loves to walk, listen to music, watch animals, and especially likes to play with his pet cat. He dreams of simple childhood happiness – running and playing with his friends. It is very difficult for him, but he continues to follow all the recommendations of the doctors. Each course of treatment gives him new opportunities: new words, movements, and skills. However, this path is still long, and it is impossible to stop now.

The cost of regular rehabilitation is an unbearable amount for a family. But we can help him! Please support this smiling, cheerful boy! Take a step towards Artem's dream!
