Step by step: the story of Danyil's struggle

Since birth, Daniel has been diagnosed with congenital brain malformation, corpus callosum hypoplasia, and cerebellar hypoplasia. He also has hemispheric cortex hypotrophy, hydrocephalus (open form), tetraparesis, level 2 motor impairment according to the GMFCS classification, level 1 right hand function, level 2 left hand function according to the MACS classification, level 1 general speech underdevelopment, dysarthria, right hip dysplasia, equinovarus foot deformity, and level 2 5-shaped scoliosis. Dysarthria. Dysplasia of the right hip joint. Equinovarus deformity of the feet. Grade 2 scoliosis. The child needs to undergo systematic rehabilitation 3-4 times. Treatment in rehabilitation centers allows children with such diagnoses to achieve maximum independence within the limits of their motor disorders and associated disabilities. With appropriate treatment and rehabilitation, children can lead a virtually normal life. Our goal is to get Danya back on his feet and give his family the happiness of having a child with unlimited mobility.

The project was launched on December 18, 2024. Thanks to charitable donations, we raised UAH 35,000.00, and the boy went to the International Center for Rehabilitation and Neurophysiology for rehabilitation under a guarantee letter from our foundation. The treatment lasted from July 7 to July 16, 2025.
The following treatments were provided: exercise therapy, therapeutic massage, speech therapy sessions, sensory integration, and a hardware rehabilitation complex.
After receiving all the documents from the rehabilitation center, we paid the bill for 35,000.00 UAH.

His mother wrote about this course: "During physical therapy classes, Danya began to lift his legs better, maintain balance, and try to get up from a crawling position, sit down, and get up from a chair on his own. Massage improved the condition of his muscles, making them softer. During the sessions with the occupational therapist, he learned to eat liquid food and worked on his hand motor skills. With the sensory integration specialist, Danya participated in a relay race where he had to step over barriers, crawl through a tunnel, and learn to throw balls. He really liked the interactive floor, where he had to catch moles or fish. The remedial teacher worked on developing his speech, improving communication, and social interaction. Danya behaved well in this course, diligently performed all the exercises, and attended all classes with interest. We thank everyone who cared for their help in Dany's development."
