Steps to your dream in your mum's arms
Smiling Zakharchyk is only 3.5 years old now. But two years ago, his life turned upside down: doctors diagnosed him with cerebral palsy, spastic diplegia. This news changed everything – both his childhood and the life of the whole family. His father left the family, and now his mother is raising Zakharchyk and his older brother alone.
But a mother's love is boundless! Her faith in her children does not fade even for a moment.
Zakharchyk is growing up to be a curious, kind and incredibly positive boy, because he always has his mother's hugs and the support of his older brother by his side. His smile fills every day with joy. He loves cars, construction sets and learning new things. However, despite his curiosity, Zakharchyk hardly speaks. For him, every sound, every letter, every word is a great achievement and a step forward.
Thanks to previous rehabilitation, the boy has already achieved a lot. He is enthusiastic about moving forward and discovering the world. But to consolidate these achievements and go even further, he needs regular help. Doctors say that Zakharchyk has great potential: his intelligence is intact, and systematic rehabilitation can give him a future where his diagnosis will not limit his life.
For this purpose, it is necessary to work with many specialists: a rehabilitation therapist, a psychologist, a speech therapist and a defectologist. But the cost of these rehabilitations is extremely high. The mother is currently on maternity leave, and so the family lives only on social benefits. Despite all the difficulties, she is fighting for her son and his future. But now they really need the support of people who care.
Your help is not just a contribution, it is a chance for Zakhar to become a part of the world without restrictions, a chance for a future in which he can be independent and happy.
