Larisa wants to be needed!

16-year-old Larisa is on the threshold of adulthood, but congenital deafness hinders her future. The girl wants to get a good education, work, have a family, be needed by society. The hearing aids, for which, unfortunately, the family does not have the funds, will significantly help to implement these plans.

Larisa is her mother's only daughter. Due to her mother's diabetes, Larisa was born in a serious condition. From the first months of birth, the mother realized that her little daughter could not hear. At the age of two, Larisa was diagnosed with a disappointing diagnosis at the Institute of Otolaryngology in Kyiv: Bilateral chronic sensorineural hearing loss of the third (third) degree, deafness of the fourth (fourth) degree.

At the age of 3, Larisa started attending a kindergarten (a group for deaf children) in Uman. At the age of 8 she continued her studies at the Bila Tserkva School for the Deaf. She studies well at school, shows interest for school subjects, draws very well. Larisa communicates with classmates, takes part in school life. But Larisa has no friends at home, she has no one to talk to and she is always alone, helping her mother and grandmother.

Larisa's mother is the girl’s only parent. Her father does not take part in the child's upbringing. He also does not give any money to purchase hearing aids.

Larisa does not speak, only uses sign language for the deaf. She has finished 8th grade and will soon have to choose a profession in order to work and be needed by society, get married and have a family. Unfortunately, her mother is not able to buy hearing aids for Larisa, as a lot of money was spent on glaucoma treatment for her mother due to diabetes.

Your little support will help Larisa take a big step towards her happy future. The hearing aid will open the way for Larisa to a new life. The girl's family appeals to all sensitive hearts to help Larisa to be realized in life.
