The young family of doctors, the birth of a son, is ahead of a long, happy life, but... in 2008 she was diagnosed with onko. Then surgery, chemotherapy. 

"You are lucky, the tumor is in the first stage, the body is strong and young – will cope, after several courses of chemotherapy you will be healthy", promised oncologists. The nightmare seemed to be behind, the hair grew again, plans for life appeared. The little son and tiny patients, whom she did not leave even during the illness, took all the time. In the district hospital of the Donetsk region in the children's department, Victoria was the only pediatrician because of a shortage of staff. "Chemistry" dripped after a walk on the job. Then the remission and the young manager, with new forces, gave up work. Branch repair, search for sponsors for the purchase of new equipment, conferences, thematic training courses, and in the reward - the happy faces of the recovering babies and their parents.

However, after remission, after 6 years the disease reminded herself... Metastases, first in vertebrate bones, then lymph nodes, lungs, pericardium. "Probably, the cancer cell has got lost and has made misfortunes," said oncologists, "we will fight with the help of chemotherapy." Again in a scarf, with terrible side effects, but at the workplace, because the gloomy walls of the oncology dispensary and the chamber, full of suffering and grief, are impossible, because it is easier in the department and because there are small patients, it is necessary for them, and they need it, because they – the meaning of life, the meaning of struggle.

Such courses of treatment for 10 years is over 30, and each time she finds the strength to survive and work, to treat children. In 2014 Donetsk Region came to war. It was even more difficult to cure, since doctors who had taken Victoria since 2008 and knew well the features of her oncology, left the country. Receive medications in a privilege, in the absence of a regional oncology clinic, there was no opportunity. A family of two doctors, without having great financial resources, works with a maximum load of two changes. Buying expensive antitumor drugs is vital!
