Smile can heal-2

Can you remember the color of walls at hospitals? What do you feel when you remember the color of medical overall? Staying in the hospitals premises become monotonous white and black. Especially, it is hard for little patients when bright colors of childhood change to grey colors of disease. The aim of the project “Hospital Clowns” is to color the everyday which is spent by children at hospitals and fill them with good mood. To realize it the volunteers need have clown’s noses and soap bubbles as well as what is a clown without special clothes

Two years ago in spring 2012, our charity fund launched the project “Hospital Clowns”. Within this project, funny clown began to visit the little patients from the Rovno Regional Children’s Hospital and several boarding schools. He brings with himself smiles and entertainments. In fact you can with him to make injection to pillow, to blow a big bubble, to have a little toy-animal from the balloon for a present, to sing a song and forget about the disease or monotonous staying at boarding school or hospital.

During these two years the project “Hospital Clowns” covered, except hematology department, additional six ones of the Rovno Regional Children's Hospital. Besides these departments, our cheerful volunteers intend to continue to come on a visit to the children in the boarding schools of the region and dream about the first visits in departments of the city children's hospital, the management of which there has already had agreements.

To follow the project realization the clown’s clothes and such accessories as soap bubbles, balloons and noses are highly need for team of volunteers. Clown should give the child a joy. And how it could be done without bright noses and bubbles? Also, clown’s look should elicit a smile. Funny nickname and bright interesting costume are indispensable accessories for clown. Previously, our clowns tried to dress themselves by their own. Fund bought clown accessories several times. In 2012 the project “Smile can heal” was published at the UBB web-site. At the result of it the musical instruments, tricks, noses and soap bubbles were bought. Today there is a need to buy special clothes which should be bright and harmoniously fitted under each image that can be only tailor-made. Then, Tiap,Babaika, Tema, Zhuzha and others characters could come to little friends with bale of hugs, bright noses, bubbles wearing incredible costumes. We need 6 094 UAH. We are asking you to help our volunteers-clowns present funny smiles and bright colors of joy to little kids!
