Tanya is utterly exhausted by the pain. The last two rounds of chemotherapy have been extremely difficult for her: a complete loss of appetite, constant nausea, a high temperature and body aches. Despite this, she understands that the treatment is essential.
Next up is proton therapy abroad. This is a less aggressive method that causes less damage to the mucous membranes and bones in the irradiation area. She is currently undergoing a course of chemotherapy in Lviv. We are also looking for a clinic abroad that is willing to treat her.
There are still two more rounds of chemotherapy to go in Lviv. The doctor has warned that things will remain difficult: she may feel nauseous, and there will be a heavy strain on her body, but drips will be used to alleviate her condition. Once the course of chemotherapy is complete and information about the clinic becomes available, the family will be informed of the next steps.
