Lusia Rybchenko – Master of Sport of Ukraine in Orienteering. She has been engaged in sport since early childhood. On October 8 on "Fundraising Marathon - Autumn 2017" Liusia will run not only for the sake of harmonious physical development.

She will run for a great goal – for saving people who need donor blood. Lusia is raising funds to purchase consumables for the Kiev City Blood Center.

"At the age of 10 I started to do sport orienteering. It is a sport that requires concentration and intelligence of a chess player, and the physical preparedness of a skier-runner. This is a sport which develops willpower, endurance, determination. At the age of 15 I began to train hard. But for some reason, I paid more attention, energy and time to physical preparation. I became a Master of Sport of Ukraine. And at some point, what I did was no longer harmonious. I was just running. And it was not enough for me to just run. I studied to be a therapist and started to work with kids with autism. I do with them something like physical education, but I know that they are not just running, they are not just jumping - they are developing. They train their brain through the body. And I am developing with them. And suddenly, what I was doing again became harmonious. If I can run for something bigger, then it's not just a run. This is a contribution. This is the charity I can do".
