The crib for triplets

We ask all of you who are not indifferent to the plight of a single mother, Nastya, and her infant triplets, to help us acquire a twin crib for the babies. He husband has abandoned her and their three children, and her relatives are not offering any assistance either. The family has been left without any means of support, as no help whatsoever is forthcoming from any relatives. The assistance provided by the government doesn’t even cover the cost of diapers and food, and the babies are in urgent need of cribs which their mother is unable to find the money for. The family is currently being assisted by the Caritas Kyiv Charitable Foundation.

Nastya’s husband abandoned her while she was still pregnant. She found herself alone, without even the funds to purchase the items she would need at the maternity hospital. The babies’ father has offered no support from the day of their birth and has had no involvement whatsoever with his baby girls. Nastya’s father has died, and her mother refuses to provide her daughter with material or any other form of support. She has even kicked her daughter out onto the street.

The triplets were born prematurely, in the seventh month of Nastya’s pregnancy. Karina was born healthy, but the two other babies had health issues. Darynka and Regina were on life-support in intensive care, as they were unable to breathe on their own. The babies spent two months in a hospital, with the doctors fighting to save their lives. Their medical treatment was very expensive, but thanks to volunteers and caring individuals the babies’ lives were saved.

Nastya is currently staying with her triplets at the “Mother and Child” Kyiv Regional Community Outreach Centre in Fastiv. The baby girls are now two-and-a-half months old. Nastya is taking care of the babies herself, and gets barely any sleep or any time to herself. The babies are growing quickly and right now, the triplets ae in need of a crib but, being a single mother, Nastya is not in a position to gather the necessary funds. This is why she is reaching out to all those who care about the lives of her infant triplets for help.
