Lola is in Year 3. She adores animals and has fish, a turtle, a cat and hamsters.

The girl recently underwent a long-awaited operation on her legs. She is now at home with her legs in plaster casts. She will have to remain in this condition for another month. It is too early to talk about recovery, because even after the casts are removed, Lola will continue to wear orthoses. A long rehabilitation period lies ahead.
