Future for Maryna

Maryna is only 14 years old. She lives in Berezne (Rivne region), loves drawing, reading and spending time with friends, and dreams of a happy future. Her life has always been active, vibrant and full of plans.

But suddenly everything changed. Severe fatigue, drowsiness, dizziness, difficulty speaking... After examinations, doctors made a serious diagnosis – autoimmune encephalitis. This is a condition in which the immune system mistakenly attacks the brain.

Without proper treatment, the disease can have serious consequences: memory loss, speech impairment, seizures, loss of self-care skills and even life-threatening complications.

Today, Maryna is bravely undergoing treatment. It is long, complex and very expensive. But most importantly – it is working. Maryna is gradually recovering, and this gives hope.

To continue her treatment, she urgently needs the medication "Bioven". A fundraising campaign is now underway to cover the cost of three vials of this life-saving medication, totalling 85,500 UAH. However, Marina’s full annual course of treatment costs around 2,000,000 UAH.
