Nazar's future is in our hands

On February 27, 2026, the project “Nazar’s Future Is in Our Hands” was posted on the dobro.ua platform of the International Charitable Foundation “UBB,” with a total goal of 279,300.00 UAH to fund Nazar Trachuk’s treatment at the Okhmatdyt National Children’s Specialized Hospital. On April 29, 2026, fundraising for the project was suspended and the amount was reduced to 35,390.28 UAH, as funds from other sources of financing were secured to implement the project.  Supplies were purchased for a total of 279,300.00 UAH, including funds from the Charitable Organization International Charitable Foundation “UBB” in the amount of 35,390.28 UAH. The goal of the project was to raise funds for a child with a complex diagnosis—“Congenital malformations: meningoradiculocele (post-operative condition). Post-ventriculitis condition. Multilocular hydrocephalus. Post-operative condition following numerous neurosurgical endoscopic and cerebrospinal fluid shunting procedures, bilateral valve-less ventriculo-subgaleostomy. Seizure syndrome.” This condition posed a direct threat to the child’s life and required brain surgery. To save Nazar, on May 5, 2026, doctors performed a complex neurosurgical procedure. The child is currently recovering from the surgeries.
