Makar is a cheerful boy who is happy to explore the world around him, he is curious about everything around him, and he cannot sit still! He especially likes to travel on big buses and trains, watching everything through the big windows. He is very outgoing, loves to socialize and be among the crowd. He loves music, when someone plays the piano, he even tries to sing and dance along.

However, this “fidget spinner” has great difficulties. Makar, despite his age of seven, is still unable to move around on his own and is very dependent on the help of his family. He cannot live without assistance, and when the power goes out, everything becomes even more difficult. Blackouts, which have become commonplace, complicate even simple things – without an elevator, carrying Makar in his arms is already very difficult, and this little explorer becomes a hostage of his naughty body.

Despite the diagnosis, the boy does not give up. He became a first-grader and is eager to learn! Every week he is visited by a teacher, and he also goes to a local center for comprehensive rehabilitation, where he communicates with other children and works with educators. These are important steps, and each of them brings Makar closer to his dream of being independent.

Unfortunately, his diagnosis does not allow him to move freely. To do this, the child really needs regular rehabilitation courses. Classes with rehabilitation therapists help to improve mobility, reduce muscle tone and make movements freer. This gives the boy a chance for a more active, happy life, where he can walk on his own and not depend on outside help.
