Maksym has a neurological condition that affects motor function and muscle tone. This disease requires constant treatment and physical training to strengthen muscles and develop joints. For a guy who is in the stage of active growth, this is especially important. Over the years, he has undergone a number of different treatments, including surgery, and achieved significant success. But these results require constant efforts and specialized help, because the disease can progress if not treated in a timely manner.

In a world where every day brings new challenges, Maksym is noted for his dedication and belief in the best. Although the disease may seem hopeless, the boy does not give up. During the years of struggle, he achieved amazing results: he became stronger, began to speak in sentences, walk with the help of a walker and even studies excellent at school.

Maksym is not only a strong fighter against his own illness, but also very kind, attentive to his surroundings, a loyal friend who believes in goodness and justice. The boy likes to read and to learn poems. His heart is filled with love for Ukrainian literature, and Ivan Franko is his favorite writer, who inspires the teenager with the book "Zakhar Berkut". Maksym also believes in the strength and heroism of our soldiers and is thankful every day for the opportunity to live.

Maksym has been living in rented apartments with his mother and brother for ten years due to the impossibility of returning to his own home located in the occupied territory. The family faces great financial difficulties. The mother cannot independently pay for the necessary rehabilitation for her son. But Maksym cannot overcome the disease alone.
