Maxym is twelve years old. When you look at the picture, you’ll see a usual teenager. And indeed he was born as an absolutely healthy child. Only when he was three years, his relatives noticed an insignificant developmental delay. And though there were no physical deviations until four years, the boy was diagnosed with the cerebral palsy, i.e. arrested psychomotor development.

And then... then like in a horror film when a tape runs backward. Gradually Maxym began to lose acquired skills: He forgot how to undress on his own, run and eat. And until twelve years he became almost speechless. The sadness of parents had no limit. It was very difficult for Maxim’s mother to watch how her son loses the ability to live by himself and do things other children do without thinking.

This time the diagnosis sounded even more horrible and unclear – Pelizaeus-Merzbacher disease. But even with this diagnosis, there is hope for the best! Except that the parents have no more money for permanent treatment and rehabilitation. This is why the mother of the boy calls all kind people for help for her sonny. Please do not disregard Maxim’s story! May God bless you!

Earlier, at UBB, we had already raised funds for Maxym. View the previous project you can by the link.
