Maksym needs a chance to grow up healthy

On July 17, 2026, the project “Maxim Needs a Chance to Grow Up Healthy,” totaling 352,824.00 UAH, was posted on the dobro.ua platform of the International Charitable Foundation “UBB” to fund Maxim Merezhko’s treatment at Municipal Non-Profit Enterprise Kyiv City Children’s Clinical Hospital No. 2. On August 27, 2026, fundraising for the project was suspended and the target amount was reduced to 128,174.00 UAH, as funds from other sources had been secured to carry out the project. The goal of the project was to raise funds for a boy with a complex diagnosis—“craniostenosis: trigonocephaly.”
This condition threatened Maksym’s life. On September 3, 2026, doctors performed a complex neurosurgical procedure on Maksym using specialized consumables: reconstructive cranioplasty with biodegradable materials.
