A little care today saves children's lives tomorrow

In November 2024, the project “A Little Care Today Saves Children’s Lives Tomorrow” was posted on the website of the UBB ICF - dobro.ua, the purpose of which was to raise funds for the purchase of medical equipment for the Kherson Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital for a total amount of UAH 130,083.00, namely syringe and infusion pumps.

On July 23, 2025, we sent an official letter to the administration of the dobro.ua platform with a request to stop fundraising and reduce the project amount to the actually collected amount - UAH 87,683.99. It was stated that with the funds collected, as well as with the addition of part of the funds from our fund’s budget, it will be possible to purchase one syringe pump for the Kherson Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital. At the same time, the need for an infusion pump has lost relevance, since the hospital was provided with the appropriate equipment within the framework of another project.

After the changes were approved, funds in the amount of UAH 87,683.99 were transferred to the purchase. The total cost of the purchased syringe pump was UAH 98,932.00, of which UAH 87,683.99 were funds collected thanks to the support of donors on the dobro.ua platform, and the rest of the amount was covered from the budget of our foundation.

We express our sincere gratitude to the dobro.ua team for the opportunity to implement this important project, as well as to all caring donors who joined the collection. The purchased equipment is of utmost importance for the work of the emergency department of the Kherson Regional Children's Clinical Hospital. It ensures timely and high-quality provision of emergency care to children, which is especially important in the conditions of constant danger of shelling in the city of Kherson.
