Little hearts are waiting for help

This project was created as part of Vodafone Ukraine's charity program "A Good Deed as a Gift".

In the My Vodafone app, subscribers accumulate bonus points and use them for more than just discounts. The company has created a mechanism that turns ordinary bonuses into real help for children.

Four children from different parts of Ukraine are awaiting heart surgery. They all have a congenital defect that is not always visible externally but poses a real threat. To correct it, there is no need to open the chest cavity: modern endovascular surgery allows an occluder to be inserted through a minimal puncture. The child returns home in just a few days. There is only one problem: the implant costs between 49,500 and 140,000 hryvnia, and the state does not cover this. Families collect the money themselves, as best they can.
