Future Paralympic champion Kyryliuk Mykola is a child you cannot just go by him not falling under his spell. You always want to hug and kiss him, but his life is not so colorful and sunny as it seems. From birth Mykola fights for his life and health every day.

Mykola has a difficult diagnosis: cerebral palsy (double hemiplegia), mental and speech development delay, severe developmental delay, microcephaly syndrome, spastic tetraparesis, pseudobulbar palsy due to severe acute asphyxia in natal period.

Mykola was born in time, but then he suffered from severe hypoxia – a condition in which tissues and organs have not enough oxygen or oxygen saturated enough, but it is not absorbed by tissues. As a result, irreversible changes are developing in vital organs. Hypoxia leads to cerebral edema and hemorrhages in trachea and stomach. Because after birth Mykola could not breathe, he was transferred to intensive care unit where he spent long two weeks, five days of which he spent under ventilator.

Despite the disappointing predictions of doctors, the boy began to make progress! But full recovery is still far from Mykola, he needed a long rehabilitation in professional clinics. Treatment is expensive there, and the boy's parents cannot cope with such sums to pay for constant rehabilitation courses, because the family is forced to seek support from the concerned people.

Parents of Mykola have never stopped, they have been constantly working and believe in his little boy’s future as a Paralympic champion who exactly should soon make glory to our nation! To believe is a half of the win, so let's support the family and help little Kyryliuk Mykola a little bit capable and become healthier. The fate of this little boy is in our hands!
