In September 2023, the project "Little Misha is losing his hearing!" was posted on the dobro.ua website of the MBF "UBB", the purpose of which was to raise funds for the payment of hearing aids for Mykhailo Gordienko (diagnosis - bilateral sensorineural hearing loss of the III degree).
The collection was completed already in October 2023, and on November 3, Misha received his hearing aids!
The boy's hearing began to deteriorate after he contracted a disease, namely the coronavirus, Mykhailo was 8 months old. At the age of 2.5 years, the parents noticed that Mykhailo stopped responding to his name and responding to some sounds. Turning to specialists, they heard the terrible diagnosis of "bilateral sensorineural hearing loss of the III degree - deafness". Doctors prescribed a cochlear implant for the left ear and a hearing prosthesis for the right. Now Misha is almost 3 years old, it was very important to provide the boy with a hearing aid at this age, because the sooner the child starts wearing the hearing aid, the less likely that the hearing will deteriorate, and the child's development also depends on it.
