Little Andriy needs rehabilitation. Stage 2
During last 5 years Andriyko Karamulin parents were making everything possible in order their son could walk. For rehabilitation of a child with cerebral palsy, apart the moral and physical efforts, financial opportunities are also needed. Boy’s parents turn to television and charities in order to raise funds. The most important is that even for a while, they do not stop struggle for the future of their son. UBB is collecting funds for the 16th Rehabilitation in the International Clinic of Rehabilitation.
Andriyko is 5 years old, but he still cannot sit and walk independently. Nevertheless, he understands everything and has a great desire to learn everything… The young couple was looking forward to a birth of their first child. But serious birth injury interrupted their happiness. Two weeks of intensive care, then two more in the pathology of newborns and terrible diagnosis - your little boy will rise like a plant, you will have to care for him, he will even eat through a tube. Nevertheless parents didn’t give up. Cerebral palsy only strengthened their family in a struggle for Andriyko's life.
By 5 months, they managed to overcome terrible convulsive seizures, and started to enhance the physical development. Rehabilitation in Lviv, Kyiv, Warsaw, Brussels gave results. But the greatest achievements were reached during rehabilitations in Truskavets.
The boy has been there 15 times already, his back became stronger and muscle tone decreased. After 12 courses Andriyko finally learned how to sit. But many more courses are needed in order to teach the boy to walk. Each course costs 10 850 UAH, and 3-4 courses are needed per year. Since the boy is constantly receiving pharmacological treatment and has already undergone 2 courses of dolphin therapy, parents are forced to turn to not indifferent people for financial assistance. Let's help Andriyko not to stop on the way to his dream!
