The main objective of this project is the development of an innovative social model of integrated express training for parents of blind children of early and preschool age with the possibility of rest and recuperation. We want to immerse the children of the project in a developing, learning and correctional professional environment. Our project covers families where children with severe visual impairment (up to 10 years) are raised and is aimed at providing comprehensive assistance to families with children with deep visual impairments and a complex structure of developmental disorders.

We want to immerse the children of the project in a developing, learning and correctional professional environment. Our project covers families where children with severe visual impairment (up to 10 years) are raised and is aimed at providing comprehensive assistance to families with children with deep visual impairments and a complex structure of developmental disorders.

Most of these children do not attend pre-school government institutions, their parents are deprived of qualified help and support from both psychologists and defectologist teachers (typhoid teachers). That is why we want to give parents the opportunity to believe in themselves and their child, to help open the teacher and the teacher in themselves and to give them the necessary knowledge for this.

The project program includes:
• daily activities for children with typhoid pedagogue, speech therapist, instructor in space orientation and mobility development, physical rehabilitation instructor, sensory integration therapist, reflexologist (massage therapist), residual vision therapist and classes in the Darkroom, psychologist, neuropsychologist, art therapist;
• music therapy
• daily lectures, presentations for parents;
• workshops on practical exercises with blind children;
• psychological training for parents;
• creative workshops for parents on the manufacture of tactile books and sensory benefits.

The project will last 21 days, we will involve 32 families, 11 specialists and 10 volunteers for its implementation.

After the end of the project, support for feedback from the project participants is expected, recommendations will be given to specialists on the training, development, and rehabilitation of the child, and full provision with methodological advisers.
