Mom, I want to live so much!

Khrystyna has been sick since birth: already at 1.5 months she was in intensive care with exhaustion and a lot of complications. Since then, for 14 years now, every day is a continuous fight for life with two terrible diseases at once: cystic fibrosis and liver cirrhosis.

 A few months ago, doctors stunned the family with the news of infection with the bacterium Burkholderia cepacia. This is one of the most serious infections that settle in the lungs and destroy them from the inside. The treatment is complex and long-term. Khrystyna is a wise girl beyond her years, she immediately understood the seriousness of the situation, and her first words were: "Mom, I want to live so much".

Despite despair, multi-week courses of intravenous antibiotic therapy, a large number of inhalations, daily physiotherapy, handfuls of pills, Khrystyna conscientiously fulfills all the doctors' prescriptions. She tries to live a full life of an ordinary teenager, is actively interested in the history of this country, makes plans, thinks about her future profession, dreams of realizing herself, and waits for victory.

In the difficult situation in which the family found themselves, they need help with the replacement of equipment (inhaler, sterilizer, sets of cups and tubes) that either failed or infected with bacteria and with the payment of a sports simulator that will improve the quality of physiotherapy.

They won’t cope themselves. Help save Khrystyna from illness!
