Mom, why?..

"Mom, why are we going back home when all the other children are still playing?". "Mom, why do we not travel a lot?". "Mom, why can’t I take my favorite dancing classes?". 5-year old Anastasia has a lot of questions like that. And the answer is the only one, "Because you have medical procedures", this is the name of the inhalations and physiotherapy exercises. Nastia has a lot of them, in the morning and in the evening, every day, for life. The child has a cystic fibrosis.

The cystic fibrosis is a rare genetic disease damaging the whole organism. You can live with it, but only if you observe a strict regime. It means tens of pills and up to 8 inhalations per day, physical exercises, trampolining, inhalation trainers... It takes a lot of time every day and that is why Nastia has to finish the walk earlier than everybody else. It is difficult to travel – the regime is violated and the general state gets worse. The lungs are quickly filled with terribly thick and still sputum, which becomes a comfortable warm place for the deadly bacteria.

With your help we want to give Nastia possibility to be free, more mobile, practice dancing and travel to her beloved Carpathians. With a small inhalator using the batteries the girl can do inhalations everywhere and no be constantly attached to her flat.
