Marathon for Cardiological Center. EverybodyCan

The Everybody Can Foundation protects the interests of children with disabilities. Our fundraisers-runners take part in the marathon to raise funds for medical equipment for pediatric intensive care of the Kyiv Cardiological Center. Intensive care unit needs a consumables to 4-9 MHz microconvex sensor for the Orcheo Lite XS ultrasound system . This equipment will allow doctors to get the best image of all internal organs and the child head in intensive care.

Inborn heart defects are one of the dominant causes of infant mortality. In a situation when a baby with a heart pathology is born, it is dear every moment, it is necessary to diagnose and to help a small life as soon as possible. Pediatric cardiology is the most expensive branch of medicine. It indicates the level of health in the country as a whole. And not in every state, this area is at such a level as in Ukraine.

One of the best medical institutions in the world where children with inborn heart defects can get surgeries from the first hours of life is the Scientific and Practical Medical Center for Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery. Kids from all regions of the country are welcome here. Every year, tens of thousands of children. All services, including the most complex operations, Ukrainian children receive for free.
The professionalism of our cardio specialists is recognized by the global community of doctors, but the lack of equipment can become an obstacle to providing assistance at the level that our children deserve.
