Maryna was born prematurely and already in the first days suffered a serious illness – meningitis. It seemed that the worst was over. But over time, it became noticeable that the child could not hold her head, did not sit up, and did not speak. The diagnosis was right-sided hemiparesis, impaired right arm and gait function. Maryna hardly uses her right arm, and her right leg is shorter than the other, so it is difficult for her to move.

But despite all this, Maryna is a real sunshine. She is bright, sincere, kind. She always smiles, easily finds a common language with her peers, loves to read, especially adventure books, draws, solves math problems and plays roles in an acting club. She is growing up to be a curious, creative, strong girl who believes in her dreams: to walk confidently, play sports, and use both hands.

Maryna has already achieved a lot. Although her path is years of rehabilitation, classes and work through pain, she does not stop. After each course of treatment, she gets better: she walks more smoothly, her hypertension decreases, and her right arm starts to work a little. And each result is like a small miracle for her.

But these miracles do not happen by themselves, they require daily work and money, which the family has less and less. To support Maryna in her fight, we need to help her continue her treatment.
