Mark has a chance for recovery – let's support!

9-year-old Mark from Rivne is a cheerful and inquisitive child who had everything: school, sports, friends and a loving family. And suddenly a terrible accident changed his life.

More than a month in intensive care, numerous surgeries, endless hours under anesthesia and days spent on painkillers. In his body, there is a 160*205 mm plate, 30 screws, and an artificial dura mater. It sounds like a scene from a movie, but for Mark it is reality. His body needs a significant amount of materials for restoration, and his soul needs unlimited support.

Mark is fighting for his life, and we can help change his story. The boy needs a long rehabilitation, and we have a chance to help him go through this path. Mark has already completed a month of rehabilitation at Agape Ukraine, and the results are impressive: he can already move around with assistance, tries to speak, eats with his left hand, holds a cup and is actively working to restore his cognitive functions. He has learned to turn over in bed, sit up and down with minimal assistance, transfer from bed to wheelchair and vice versa, and climb stairs with moderate help. However, the right arm still needs to be restored for a long time, as the right side of the body suffered the most.  

Mark's mother asked Agape Ukraine for financial support to continue his rehabilitation. The total amount for rehabilitation is 85,800 UAH.
