Masha has always been special. Her laugh and smile could light up even the darkest of days, but behind this joy was a struggle she had been fighting since childhood. Being diagnosed with cerebral palsy was a real challenge for her and her family. Every day was filled with work, rehabilitation and examinations, but Masha never gave up.

With each new course of rehabilitation, Masha takes steps forward. "She always manages, no matter how hard it is," her mother says proudly, watching her daughter stubbornly complete her tasks in class. Masha tries her best, and although there are results, they are still far from what she wants. Her speech remains slurred and her movements are clumsy. Simple things like tying her shoes or playing with other children require tremendous effort.

The girl learns to communicate with a speech therapist, works with an occupational therapist and a physical therapist, and takes part in sensory integration and swimming classes. But despite all her efforts, she needs more: regular classes and support from specialists. The next rehabilitation session was scheduled, but the family faced a problem – they lacked the funds for treatment.

"We need tens of thousands of hryvnias," says the girl's mother with concern. The war adds to the difficulties in their lives – the family lives in Kharkiv, and every hryvnia is valuable. "Mashenka really wants to run and jump like her peers. We are fighting for it with all our might," she continues. The mom knows that they can't do it without the support of caring people. Every day they turn to kind hearts, hoping for their support. Believe in miracles, because every donation is not money, but a chance for Mariya to take another small step towards her goal.

She dreams of being like other children – active and happy. Although the path to her goal is difficult, Masha knows that with support, anything is possible.
