Kherson Hospital* needs a mobile X-ray unit to provide timely and high-quality medical care to the population of Kherson region. This device is designed for examinations in operating rooms or emergency departments, as well as in wards. It is lightweight, easy to operate, and its use would significantly speed up and facilitate the examination of patients who have been injured. The device can also be connected to a generator.

Last year, due to damage to the hospital building from shelling by the Russian army, the elevators did not work, and patients had to move from floor to floor on their own, which was especially difficult for those who were injured. If a patient has a mobile device, he or she can be examined right in the ward.

According to the Ukrainian Helsinki Human Rights Union, in 2022, there were 1,657 people in Kherson and the region who suffered from the hostilities, including injuries.

Despite the constant shelling, the hospital continues to provide round-the-clock medical care to patients in full for all categories (taking into account the specifics of patients in the area of possible hostilities). The facility itself has 545 beds, including 18 intensive care units.

Please support the hospital and help provide Kherson residents with quality medical care.

*The full name of the hospital is withheld for security reasons.
