Melania dreams of learning to walk!

On September 2, 2021, the project “Melania dreams of learning to walk!” Was posted on the website of UBB Dobro.ua, the purpose of which was to raise funds to pay for a course of treatment for Kuzmina Melania for the total amount of UAH 33,000.
Melania was born at 28 weeks of pregnancy weighing 970 grams. The girl spent the first month of her life in the Kryvyi Rih perinatal center under a respirator. In three years, the girl underwent four surgeries on the hip joints of both legs, she was given titanium plates.
Melania has already finished the first grade, but the girl is forced to wear diapers and eat special food for underweight children. she cannot sit, stand, walks only with support, because of this she was in dire need of treatment.
The collection ended in December, and on December 13, 2021, the Foundation paid for treatment, which was to begin in March, as there was a queue. But, unfortunately, due to the war, Melania was able to receive treatment only in June.
"Melanka's dynamics have improved, her spasticity has decreased, her back has strengthened, she is better off standing on a support with straight legs, they have slowly started to learn to keep their balance! We are infinitely grateful to you for your kind hearts, for your sensitivity and humanity, for giving you the opportunity to go through a rehabilitation course and get closer to your dream! ” - Mother Nadezhda shares with us.
