A place of communication for lonely old people. 10

The club "Druha molodost" has been operating in Kharkiv since 2001. The purpose of the club's work is to organize quality leisure time for lonely elderly who, due to circumstances, are left alone with their present. Almost 50 people attend club events every month. In addition to communication and a good mood, they receive psychological help and other social services as needed.

Taking into account the experience of working with this category of beneficiaries, the project employees are constantly looking for new directions for the development of the club, interesting excursions within the city, invite guests who may be interesting to old ladies, singers, poets, etc. Every month, a big holiday is held – the day of the birthday person, on which the elderly are greeted and a tea party is organized.

The "Druha Molodist" Club project is self-financed by the foundation and has no permanent financial income. In order for the club to continue to operate, the fund needs funds every month to pay for the rent of the premises, utility costs, wages for project employees and the cost of goodies for tea parties. In this project, we invest funds to pay for utilities/rent of the club. We hope that deep down each of you will have a desire to support the elderly who visit the club and make any kind of donation. Give your morning coffee to a stranger grandmother or grandfather, and feel a wave of gratitude from them, which will continue to boomerang to do good deeds!
