On August 31, 2021, the project "My mother overcame cancer, and I will overcome cerebral palsy!" was posted on the website of the IBF "UBB", the purpose of which was to raise funds to pay for a rehabilitation course for David Sukhomlin at the "Olinek" Intensive Care Center in Warsaw.

David had previously received treatment at this center, and this course was the most effective for David, after the last trip, mom saw the first free steps not bound by spasticity and more concentrated and purposeful hand movements in her son, so it was important to undergo rehabilitation there.

The treatment started already on December 6, but, unfortunately, we did not have time to collect the full amount, but the parents did not want to give up the course. Therefore, the fund partially paid for the rehabilitation with the amount collected as part of the project at that time, and the parents decided to use the rest of the amount from their own resources. According to Letter No. 1612/02 dated 12/16/2021. the amount of UAH 53,915 (fifty-three thousand nine hundred and fifteen) was transferred to the fund's account. 00 kopecks On December 23, 2021, the Fund made a payment for treatment in the amount of UAH 53,788. 69 kopecks (which is equivalent to EUR 1,745.91 at the NBU exchange rate of UAH 30.8084), and the bank commission amounted to UAH 817.52. A total of UAH 54,606 was paid. 21 kopecks

The boy successfully underwent treatment, which lasted from December 6 to 24, and fundraising continued, and the family planned to go to the next rehab in March.

The remaining amount for the project in the amount of 33,805 (thirty-three thousand eight hundred and five) hryvnias 00 kopecks. gathered already at the beginning of February, and on February 3, 2022, the payment was made. EUR 1,050.00 was credited to the institution's account at the NBU exchange rate of UAH 32. 1419 kopecks, the commission amounted to UAH 851.63. In total, the fund paid 34,600 hryvnias. 625 (including funds from the "UBB" IBF in the amount of UAH 33,113.79)

David's treatment began on March 14 and ended on April 22, 2022. This time, mother and David went to outpatient classes for almost a month. This spring rehabilitation became very important for the family, because the war started in Ukraine, but David had the opportunity to receive treatment.

Due to the war in our country, contact with the boy's mother was lost for some time, but in October 2022 we managed to collect all the necessary documents.
