Ania wants to hear

In January 2026, the project "Anya's Dream to Hear" was launched on the dobro.ua platform. The goal of the project was to raise funds for the purchase of hearing aids for Anna Vasylenko, who is diagnosed with bilateral severe sensorineural hearing loss (Grade V deafness). The total target amount for the fundraiser was 85,200.00 UAH.

The fundraiser was completed within a month, and in February 2026, we paid for the modern hearing aids. Due to the difficult security situation in the Sumy region where the family lives, they were only able to reach a doctor in March. On March 17, Anna finally received the hearing aids, which specialists tuned to her individual needs.

Since childhood, Anya’s world has been quiet. The girl’s family did the incredible to ensure she could learn to speak and explore the world through hearing aids. But the war changed everything. Due to stress and constant danger, Anya’s hearing deteriorated significantly; her previous devices stopped helping, and the girl found herself in total silence once again.

But now, Anya can hear her mother's voice again, can study, and can look toward the future with confidence. We thank everyone who became a part of this.
