Oleg dreams to walk independently

For Oleg's mum, the pregnancy went well, and her son was born weighing a healthy 3 kg and 52 cm long. Unfortunately, the birth was complicated, and Oleg experienced asphyxia and hypoxia. His skin was blue when he was born, and he did not cry at birth. Following this, newborn Oleg was taken to the ICU, after which he spent time in a hospital ward. 

At 8-months-old, baby Oleg was diagnosed with cerebral palsy (CP). And at just 10-months-old, his parents took him to his first rehabilitation course. Since then, Oleg has undergone regular rehabilitation and medical treatments, including four surgeries. Oleg's regular rehabilitation treatments have proven successful. His intellectual abilities, including his memory, remained unaffected by the disease, while his speech is slurred, his family understands him. 

Oleg attended school and studied the general education program with an individual attendance form. As CP has affected both his arms, Oleg used his laptop and tablet to do his school work. Oleg has a talent for memorizing poetry. He also took a liking to the English language and Computer Science. In 2021, Oleg entered college, opting for a distance learning mode. He is very social, has many friends, and is an active user of social networks. 

Oleg’s biggest dream is to stand on his own two feet and graduate from college. All these years, his parents have been fighting for his health. Oleg always gives 100% while attending rehabilitation courses and does exercises at home. He attends speech therapy and sessions with a psychologist. Doctors report that they see positive developments and believe that Oleg will one day walk independently. But to do that, he needs our help. 

Unfortunately, Oleg's parents cannot afford regular rehabilitation treatments. They have turned to Bright Kids for help. Oleg must attend regular rehabilitation courses to achieve his goal to walk independently. We are asking for your help to support Oleg and give him a chance to live the life he has worked so hard towards.
