Stefa has been diagnosed since birth: Cerebral palsy, spastic tetraplegia, level IV motor impairment according to the GMFCS scale. She has delayed statico-kinetic development. Equinus foot position, partial atrophy of the optic nerve discs in both eyes. Alternating eastern strabismus with a nettle component. The girl needs to undergo systematic rehabilitation 3-4 times a year. With appropriate treatment and rehabilitation, children with Stefania's diagnosis can lead almost normal lives. Our goal is to put Stefa back on her feet and give the Verba family the happiness of having a child with unrestricted movement.

The project started on 08 August 2024. Thanks to charitable contributions, the amount of UAH 35,000.00 was raised on the platform of the UBB Charitable Foundation https://dobro.ua/. And the girl went for rehabilitation. We provided the International Centre for Rehabilitation and Neurophysiology LLC with a letter of guarantee for the payment of treatment and the course began on 18 October and ended on 27 October 2024. After the course, we paid the invoice in the amount of UAH 35,000.00 (thirty-five thousand hryvnias) 00 kopecks.

From the mother's report after rehabilitation: "This is our second rehabilitation that took place in this centre (the previous one was in the summer under Resolution 309). At the International Centre for Rehabilitation and Neurophysiology, an individual course was selected, which consisted of classes with a correctional teacher, acupuncture sessions, therapeutic massages, exercise therapy, speech therapy and corrections. We also received consultations from a paediatric neurologist and a speech therapist. We underwent 1 examination (electroencephalography). Hardware rehabilitation complex TENS therapy. After this course of rehabilitation, Stefa's general physical and emotional condition improved significantly, the expressive component of her speech improved, and the hypotonia of her articulation muscles decreased. She learned to sit and stand independently and tried to take steps with a walker. Stefania began to understand her body better, to keep her balance, her spasticity decreased, which was immediately noticeable in her movements. Her own statements became more coherent and emotionally filled.
We thank the benefactors for this wonderful opportunity to restore our daughter's health! Stefania really needed this rehabilitation on her way to recovery! We hope to continue to receive your support during the next rehabilitation, as there is still a lot of work ahead, because our goal is to walk independently! Peace, goodness, victory!!!"

CO ICF ‘Everyone Can’ joins the gratitude of the Verba family and expresses its sincere gratitude to the website https://dobro.ua/ and everyone who responded to the call for help for Stepha!
