I dream not to fall and walk with my legs

Milana took her first breath in the intensive care unit on a ventilator. The girl's birth was a great challenge for the family, she was hypoxic, so she was taken away from the delivery room right away. The pregnancy was going well, the labor started on time, and no one expected any trouble. But the umbilical cord was tied and the baby was not breathing. Doctors said that parents should be prepared for anything. On the Apgar scale, the girl's condition was rated at 1-4 points.

At first, there was intensive care, a week later the baby was transferred to the regional children's intensive care unit, and later to the premature infants' unit. After discharge, the parents thought that the worst was over, but Milana could not walk or stand on her own. She was diagnosed with cerebral palsy after the age of 4, and at the age of 5, the girl had her first epileptic seizure, convulsions, loss of consciousness and resuscitation. Unfortunately, the seizures recur, they are of varying severity and with different frequency, so the girl takes anti-epileptic drugs on a regular basis. Because of this disease, mom and dad are afraid that the child will not go out on her own and will not be left alone at home.

Milana is a kind, cheerful and cheerful girl, she is in the second grade. Studying is very difficult for her – she gets tired quickly. In physical education and choreography classes, she often cannot do exercises with her classmates, so she just stands next to the teacher. Milana dreams of going in for sports, but doctors do not allow it because of her health condition. She speaks poorly, does not control her salivation, which often makes children laugh, and her face gets dirty while eating. Milana walks badly, her legs get confused, she often falls, she can even fall down the stairs. She has friends, but because of her walking problems, she cannot play outdoor games with the kids, and so she is always sad.

Doctors give hope for a full and healthy life for Milana, but she needs to undergo rehabilitation every 3-4 months, and this requires considerable funds, which are very difficult for the family to raise. Mom and dad are begging for help!
