Why is it difficult to breathe? Does the prescribed treatment work? Should I rush to the hospital or can I be treated at home? To answer these questions, patients with moderate to severe chronic lung disease need access to basic examinations. One of them is a spirograph, which, by measuring a number of indicators, gives an understanding of how well or poorly the lungs are working.

It is great when a medical centre is located in your city or nearby. But our foundation takes care of cystic fibrosis patients from all over Ukraine. Some live in the mountains. Some live in the de-occupied territories, where the infrastructure is broken. Some live in Donetsk, Dnipro and Odesa regions.  And some are simply far from the regional centre, so it is not easy to get to the hospital with the necessary equipment.

For these patients, we buy spirographs for home use. With their help, families can take basic measurements on their own, send the results to the doctor and remotely assess the patient's condition right now. For some, the doctor will tell them to go to the hospital immediately. For others, the doctor will be able to make an appointment remotely and then monitor its effectiveness. Life is much easier this way.

Please help us provide patients with serious illnesses with devices to assess their current lung condition.
