Get closer to the dream

On August 4, 2020, the project "Approaching the dream" was posted on the UBB website, the purpose of which was to raise funds to pay for the operation for Veronica Semenyuk for (diagnosis - cerebral palsy) UAH 47,000. At the end of August, the funds was completed, but unfortunately we could not pay immediately, as the operation was to be performed in Kyiv by Israeli doctors, and due to a pandemic and quarantine restrictions, they could not reach Ukraine. We waited for the situation to be resolved, and in November we received a request from Veronica's mother to pay for rehabilitation for her child. Therefore, the purpose of the project was changed to pay for surgery and rehabilitation according to the Letter dated November 9, 2020. We immediately paid for the course, and Veronica passed it to the Center for Physical Therapy and Pain Medicine "Innovo" in Lviv in several stages. The final amount of the project was UAH 44,480. The balance of funds under the project is 2520 (two thousand five hundred and twenty) hryvnias, which will be returned to the account of ICB "UBB" according to the Rules, Principles and Procedures of ICF "UBB". The girl's mother Olga says that this rehabilitation has become very effective for her daughter: Veronica began to crawl on her knees near the support and worked out her arms very well. As a small family, they are very grateful for the help they received!
