News December 2025

Before his illness, Nazarii was an active and inquisitive boy: he enjoyed swimming, was fascinated by computer games, spoke English fluently and dreamed of visiting Japan. Everything came to an abrupt end in the autumn of 2024.

One day in September, Nazarii's temperature rose sharply, then his condition stabilised briefly. It seemed that the worst was over. But the next day, his father found his son convulsing. Ahead lay months of hospital wards and a struggle for every breath.

The boy was diagnosed with autoimmune encephalitis, a disease in which the immune system attacks brain cells, perceiving them as foreign. He was prescribed Bioven, which helps to stop the destructive process and allows the brain to recover.

The results of treatment with this drug are already visible: recently, Nazarii was on a ventilator and fed through a tube, but now he has started eating and drinking from a spoon again!

Together, we can be part of Nazarii's recovery story.

Friends, let's help him take the next step together – towards full recovery, towards his dreams, towards a childhood without hospital wards!
