Feed a child-3

The aim of this project is to buy products to feed children in charitable refectory of CF "Caritas Kyiv", which has provided hot meals for needful people since 1992. The main category of charitable refectory recipients seizes 50-80 children and teenagers. The Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace collected money for projects Feed a child and Feed a child-2, but for the full activity of the establishment it's also needed fish and fruit, so we call for help the third time!

At the moment these are kids from crisis, low-income, single-parent and large families and disabled youngsters, all in all, 50-80 people. Some of them don’t have parents, if they do – they are unemployed and can’t give children the most essential - ultimate nutrition. The majority of families have big debts for communal service, some of them live in another person’s flats, some dwell nearly on streets, or on streets. They don’t have money for medical treatment, clothes or hygiene means. These kids come to charitable refectory of Caritas, where they can eat things they could only dream about. It is undoubtedly true that for people that don’t have problems with nutrition it is difficult to understand joy of eating food, but for these youngsters meals in charitable refectory support the living, give possibility to study and develop their personalities.

In the social center "Caritas" social worker, teacher, psychologist work with children, the work of teaching and game room is organized. Training sessions, workshops, circles are conducted. For example, a circle of cooking, where teens learn how to cook the food themselves. A football team is organized, where children are involved with a professional trainer and participate in tournaments with their peers. Here, children attend sessions viewing and discussion of feature films, in visual arts, have access to the mini-library. But, of course, all of this would be impossible, if there will be lack of elementary – food, so please help in feeding children.

Currently the charitable refectory does not have money to buy food, so under threat of closure, and will suffer from these children and adolescents. Please help in the acquisition of products for these poor children.

On foods for children in the charitable refectory of "Caritas Kyiv" Foundation it's necessary to collect 19 700 UAH (fish, fruits) + fare.
