Feed a child-5

We ask your help in raising funds for food for the children in the soup kitchen СF "Caritas-Kyiv". Unfortunately, money for the full activity of the charity canteen is not always enough. Several times donors of ubb.org.ua and people of good will helped for this noble cause donating their funds . We hope for your help, so we were able to buy food for these poor children, who are unable to purchase them on their own.

Charitable Foundation "Caritas-Kyiv" since 1992 in Kyiv has been providing hot meals to needy people and children. Main categories, which are provided meals in the charity canteen are children and adolescents. Today these are children from crisis, poor, single parent, and large families, and children with disabilities, totally about 80-100 people. Some of them do not have parents, and in some cases even if they have father or mother, they lost their jobs, and therefore they can not provide the bare necessities for their children – quality food. Many of these poor families have large debts to pay for utilities, some are living in other people's homes, some of them live on the street, or even are homeless. They have no money for treatment, clothing or hygiene facilities. 

These kids come to the "Caritas" charity canteen where they can eat what they often have only dreamt of. For people who have a good nutricion, of course, they can't understand the joy of food, but  meal for these children in a charity canteen is a big support to live, it allows fully tp learn and develop.

In the social center of CF "Caritas" social workers, teachers, psychologists work with children, organize job training and game room for them. Training sessions, master classes, and groups are being conducted for them. For example, a group of cooking, where teens learn how to cook meals on their own. "Caritas" has also organized a football team where the children are training with the professional coach and participate in tournaments with their peers. Here children attend sessions of review and discussion of films, they are involved in fine arts, have access to a mini-library. Of course, all this will be impossible without a basic thing – food, so please help us in feeding these children.

There's always not enough funds for the full work of the charity canteen, so we appeal to you for help. Canteen without products will be under threat of closure, and it will be a problem for these children and adolescents. So we beg you to help us purchase food for these poor children!
