5000 babies are born annually with heart failure, and the situation with pediatric cardiology in our country is catastrophic, so more than 800 children die from cardiovascular diseases.

Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery. Amosova is a place where children with congenital heart defects have a chance to be saved. According to statistics, almost 750 babies are operated on in this medical facility every year. However, the equipment is constantly worn out, and due to underfunding, the institution does not have funds for purchasing a new one.

Our goal is to purchase two very important devices in the operating room of the Amosov Institute, in the department where endovascular surgeries are performed, where 4-5 children receive urgent help every day.

The collected funds will be used to purchase 3 syringe pumps and a pacemaker.

A syringe pump is a device that is used for intravenous infusion when high accuracy and safety for the patient is required. The device allows you to adjust the rate of administration of the required dose of the drug using a special electronic system that is built into it. Electronics allows you to administer medicine in several ways, at any time.

A temporary pacemaker is often used to save a patient's life, including as the first step before implantation. Under certain circumstances, the patient after the implementation of temporary stimulation will not be transferred to permanent.
