Little Anita is 7 years old. The girl has not heard since birth, and never in her life has she heard her parents' voice, how a dog barks, spring thunder spreads in the sky, and how a car approaches when it crosses the road… Unfortunately, Anita's parents (they also have hearing problems and cannot hear) due to financial difficulties cannot purchase hearing aids for their daughter!

Anita and her parents live in the village of Uzyn, Kyiv region. When the war started, the girl began to sleep badly, she did not understand what was happening, why mom and dad are anxious, why they sit in the hallway so often... Anna – Anita's mother – says that they did not hear the siren, because the whole family can't hear, it was very difficult for them, it was decided to go abroad. The husband remained in Ukraine. The whole way to the border was very disturbing for Anna and Anita, they were afraid of explosions, shelling…

When they came to Poland – they met with a new problem -–communication, because they do not understand Polish and can not speak at all. So far, most of the problems in Poland have been solved, Anita goes to school, but it is still very difficult for the girl to understand a foreign language, it is extremely difficult to adapt to new conditions without hearing aids. "Deaf people are very scared to live in war, it's scary that we are not strangers. It is only possible to feel a strong explosion. Hearing aids are extremely important for Anita, she needs to learn to speak. This period is unrealistically difficult for our family", Anita's mother writes.

In general, hearing aids address several important issues at once: learning and development, as well as communication with people.
