Sergii had a difficult start in life – he was born prematurely at 28 weeks, weighing only 980 grams. He spent the first 60 days of his life in intensive care on a ventilator, struggling with the consequences of asphyxia and oxygen deprivation. This led to a serious diagnosis confirmed when he was one year old: cerebral palsy, spastic quadriplegia. Despite physical limitations, Sergii is a very bright and emotional child. At 2 years old, he carefully observes the world, recognizes his loved ones, and babbles actively, trying to express his feelings.
Recently, thanks to the support of donors, the boy took another important step toward recovery by completing an intensive rehabilitation course in Truskavets using the Koziavkin method. The results of this treatment have given the family great hope, as doctors noted significant progress. Thanks to neurophysiological spinal correction and a complex of procedures, Sergii's muscle tone decreased, allowing him to move his limbs more freely. He began to hold his head more confidently while lying on his stomach and keep his back straighter with support. Now he opens his palms more often and extends his arms better at the elbows, while improved blood circulation has made his body more resilient to physical exertion.
However, we cannot stop there. The nature of his condition requires consistency: to consolidate these achievements and learn new skills, Sergii needs to undergo the next rehabilitation course in November. His family, who has devoted all their strength and resources to saving their son since his first minutes of life, can no longer manage on their own. They are unable to afford the expensive treatment and are reaching out to all kind-hearted people for help. Every contribution is a chance for Sergii to eventually sit up on his own, stand on his feet, and experience the joy of movement.
Your support can change the life of this little fighter!
