This story is about a little boy from a provincial town in the Donetsk region. Despite the difficult fate, Saveliy keeps a smile on his face and a joyful mood. Already in the age of one year he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, and the endless struggle for a full-fledged childhood began. Parents and medical professionals are making great efforts to rehabilitate Saveliy. Physical exercises, massages, special therapy - all this is a necessary part of a boy's life. He works hard every day, step by step, nurturing his dream of walking and talking on his own.

Despite his illness and young age, Saveliy is a zoo volunteer. He adores animals and, together with his parents, takes care of homeless and abandoned dogs and cats on the territory of Donbas. He gives his love and attention to these defenseless creatures and it makes him smile even more.

Now Saveliy is 4.5 years old, thanks to rehabilitation and constant work, he can take 10 steps on his own, but then he loses his balance and falls. The boy was finally able to say the word "mama", which the mother had dreamed of since she first called him her son. But other words are still out of reach for the boy. Saveliy needs constant rehabilitation to develop mobility, improve balance when walking and begin to fully speak.

However, Saveliy’s family faced financial difficulties. The cost of rehabilitation treatment is very high, and they are unlikely to be able to raise such an amount on their own.

We believe that every child deserves a happy and healthy childhood and we would be grateful for any help and support, because together we can make a miracle and help this incredibly kind baby to recover.
